Was an associate in ACCRA Law Offices, and subsequently in Puno & Puno Law Offices, where he handled litigation cases and special corporate projects for various clients before joining MPIC in 2010. Graduated Valedictorian from the Ateneo Law School in 2006 and passed the Philippine Bar Examinations in 2007 with the second highest ranking.
