mWell was born out of the need to fulfill a basic human necessity – access to basic healthcare. There is a shortage of healthcare facilities & personnel in rural areas. Underprivileged sectors, including Indigenous Peoples (IP) in remote, mountainous areas need to travel for a day to consult with a doctor. Through its advocacy programs, mWell is able to deliver healthcare to far-flung areas, even those without electricity. It also pioneered a nationwide digital medical mission with hundreds of volunteer doctors simultaneously providing free consultations, servicing indigents and IPs.
National mWellness Day, the biggest nationwide online medical mission, brings together volunteer doctors and health practitioners to provide free consultation to Filipinos from all parts of the country via the mWell PH app
This international Women's Month, we're honored to partner with OB-Gynecologists from Kalusugan ng Kababaihang Pangkabayanan Inc. (KnkPInc) in empowering women to take charge of their health by providing FREE online OB-GYN consultations form March 27-31, 2023.
Avail of FREE consultations from a roster of OB-GYNs from KnkPInc using CODE: QUEEN. Booking fees and doctor fees are waived.
At the core of mWell is malasakit: compassion, a genuine concern for someone’s wellbeing. By providing access to online doctor consultation via the mWell PH app, we are able to show compassion in action. More than just a telemedicine app, mWell is an ally in health in wellness—digital in nature but with a heart for providing comfort and care.
As part of the MPIC Group, mWell is committed to work towards the achievement of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being. It also supports the MVP Group’s Gabay Kalusugan advocacy focusing on quality and affordable healthcare.
We need your help in bringing our advocacy to more people. As we reach out to more communities, doctors who wish to donate their time and companies invested in healthcare would further strengthen our efforts. Together we can provide compassion that cures.
