Metro Pacific Health Tech Corporation (mWell), the digital healthcare arm of Pangilinan-led conglomerate Metro Pacific Investments Corp. (MPIC), is acquiring Ayala Group’s telehealth provider KonsultaMD. In a news release on Tuesday, mWell said it entered into share purchase deals with KonsultaMD, the flagship healthcare platform of Globe’s 917Ventures, for the transaction, to reinforce its position as the largest digital healthcare ecosystem in the Philippines and further expand its reach and capabilities.
